"Read Across America" Day

The FFC was invited to the Freemansburg Elementary School as guest speakers to read Dr. Seuss books to the classes as part of the celebration of Dr. Seuss's Birthday. Members of the Fire Company, accompanied by Sparky the Fire Dog, read books to several classes and gave brief fire safety chats to the students showing them how to Stop, Drop and Roll. Some books read were The Foot Book and I am not going to get up today. Sparky also got in on the fun sporting his Dr. Seuss hat with some of the Freemansburg Leadership Students.
